9NEWS Highlights One Day a Month Project
The One Day a Month (ODAM) project at Advanced ENT & Allergy Center started in 2015 as an extension of the passion Dr. Michael Menachof and his team at Advanced ENT & Allergy Center have for helping people. One day every month, Advanced ENT & Allergy Center opens their doors to provide free treatment for Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) related medical issues to the underserved and underinsured members of our community, no questions asked. On these days they typically see and treat over 75 patients including consultations, surgery, and intervention treatments such as hearing aids. All of the patients they see on this day are directly referred by Salud Health Centers and Clinica Tepeyac, who are local primary care networks that provide general health and wellness options to underserved populations.

Partners That Care
Salud Health Centers and Clinica Tepeyac work diligently with our team each month to find patients who would benefit from our services. We do not receive government subsidies from this work and rely on relationships with partners and vendors to provide medical, lab work, and surgical rooms for our ODAM patients.
